I have long resisted blogging – much like I resisted twitter initially. Although I now have a twitter account, I cant say I tweet much. Apparently like many others (http://pewresearch.org/pubs/1725/where-people-get-news-print-online-readership-cable-news-viewers) I am getting my news through social media sites. I still get my news the old fashion way – The Globe and Mail, CBC News (radio only) but increasingly it’s direct RSS feeds, FB and similar sources.

I’m not sure how regularly this blog will end up being, but I am looking forward to experimenting with blogging. I suppose it is here that I say that although I am affiliated with a number of organizations, both professionally and in a community activism sense, my views are exactly that: Mine and do not represent those of the organizations with which I am affiliated.
